You may know us from online ads, social media, email, or some lovely friends’ recommendations. You may be impressed by HOTO’s clean and minimalist design, even the functional and creative user experience.

The home tools from HOTO are extremely different from the traditional ones currently seen on the market. The minimalist design is sleek and neat for daily use by modern families.

All About HOTO Products

The name “HOTO” is short for “Home Tools”. HOTO is an independent brand that explores the home tools market since its foundation in 2016. We started by designing a precision screwdriver set for Xiaomi (Mijia) that sold over 2 million units from 2017 to 2020. Today, you can still find many tools designed by HOTO in Xiaomi’s (Mijia) catalogue for home gadgets.

To this date, we have delved into two main product lines: domestic tools for daily uses, and outdoor tools for adventure and camping lovers. This means you can find screwdrivers, drills, and measuring devices on one side, and flashlights, tire inflators, and car washers on the other. We are constantly working hard to rapidly develop more product categories so that, hopefully one day, you can find all your essential daily tools at HOTO.

Why do we design tools like this?

We believe in the need to change the home tools category to suit modern users as traditional tools are mostly bulky and dull. We save tools from utility rooms so they become part of your daily life. They transform into something similar to the tech gadgets you use on a daily basis, or other small delicate objects decorating your room.

HOTO gathers talents with creative guts and robust design genes. From R&D to marketing, we make ideas become reality. This is what we call “Male It Happen”, HOTO brand’s core value.

We not only develop a new style of tools, but we also hope the tools can make life less ordinary.

What does the future hold?

Since 2016, we have grown from a small team to a company with over a hundred-members. We are still young, but we count on you in every step we take. Despite the fast-developing technologies and ever-changing sector of robotics, the creative and hands-on ability of humans is still to some extent irreplaceable.

In our daily life, we cannot avoid using some kind of tool to fix, change, upgrade, or even unleash our creativity. We hope that at some point in this exploration, the peculiar tools brought by HOTO may become the epitome of a new lifestyle.
